
Limits
All limits are set by Canada’s Department of Fisheries and Oceans and are complied with, without exception. Regulations are subject to change pre or in-season.
Salmon:
BC wide – 4 salmon per day/8 salmon possession, potentially consisting of:
Chinook (Kings) – Plentiful all season.
Season start – July 15: 1 per day/2 possession – wild fish with slot size and/or hatchery fish without slot size. This is when we have of our most world class tyee fishing in the remote Knight Inlet waters, with our rates of Kings over 30lb being much higher than other areas on the coast.
July 15 – August 17: 1 per day/2 possession with slot
August 17 – August 31: 1 per day/2 possession
August 31 – season end: 2 per day/4 possession
Coho (Silvers) – Present from mid July on.
1 per day/2 possession wild plus 1 per day/2 possession hatchery
Chum (Dogs) – Present mid July on. Sparse until Autumn.
4 per day/8 possession
Sockeye (Reds) – Present mid July to mid August
Managed in-season
Pinks (Humpies) – Present mid July to late August
4 per day/8 possession
Halibut:
managed in season – will be updated once coast wide 2026 regulations are confirmed
Ling Cod:
1 per day/2 possession
