Pacific Dungeness Crabs and Pacific Prawns
Pacific Prawns are the largest of the 7 species of shrimp found in British Columbia waters. The prawns body is either reddish brown or tan with distinctive white spots on the abnominal segments. Large females can reach a length of 9 inches. Prawn fishing in Knight Inlet is done at depths of 130 to 350 feet of water.
