A young Grizzly Bear feeding on Sedge Grasses
A young Grizzly Bear explores the bank of the Glendale River in the Glendale River Estuary. In late June, the bears feed on salmon berries, huckleberries, elder berries, and sedge grasses. In Mid August as the salmon start arriving, the young Grizzly Bears chase the fish in the low tidal pools at the mouth of the river.
